Afro-pop's hottest property gets a hot property of her own

Two months after her family told Sunday World the internationally acclaimed phenomenon was a pedestrian and was living "like a maid" at the house of her record label boss Thembinkosi "TK" Nciza, the Loliwe singer went on a multi-million rand shopping spree.
Sunday World has established that Zahara spoilt herself with a cluster house worth R1,9m and added a sleek set of wheels to her portfolio of assets.
The ritzy three-bedroomed abode is nestled in an upscale complex in the quiet suburb of Little Falls in Roodepoort, west of Jozi.

A property deeds search confirmed her ownership.
Zahara - who was nominated seven times and won six SA Music Awards prizes last year - now rolls between her new modest home and her appointments in a shiny Audi A5 drop top, which is worth more than R500000.
Zahara, real name Bulelwa Mkutukana, went shopping after her family laid bare their broken hearts over what they called "trickery" played on them by her record company and management.

The talented guitarist and singer, who sold more than 300000 copies of her debut album and is the most sought after artist in Mzansi, is contracted to TK Records, co-owned by Nciza and Sibusiso Leope, aka DJ Sbu.
The Mkutukana family, especially Zahara's siblings Nomonde and Mbangedwa, claimed last year that the record company had not fulfilled a number of its promises, to the family.
Nciza says: "I don't talk about my artist's personal life. I can only comment on her profession or on business matters. What she does with her money is up to her.
"Whether she lives in a shack or house is none of my business."
Zahara could not be reached for comment as she is performing in Zimbabwe this weekend.
